Creation presented its latest innovations at IDS

More popular than ever: Creation scores high among IDS attendees

At this year's IDS, Creation Will Geller described the company's motto as "Pushing forward with new developments, keeping faith with tried and tested solutions, and optimising wherever possible". As one of the leading suppliers of high-performance ceramics, Creation focuses on both tradition and innovation. This could be seen on its stand at the Cologne dental trade exhibition in mid-March. Accordingly, trade visitors were just as interested in the metal-ceramic system Creation CC, which has been successfully used for over twenty years, as in the highly attractive zirconium dioxide ceramic solution, containing feldspar, and the new press & paint systems Creation P&P on Metal and P&P on Zirconium Dioxide.

Edith Schönenberger, Creation's Sales & Marketing Manager, explains: "We regard the IDS as a very important platform for information and communication. Direct, personal contact with the users of Creation and our specialist trade partners is very important to us. Intense discussions and the many new customers we have gained confirm that Creation is in high demand throughout the world as a top-quality ceramic brand. Our Creation P&P-M and P&P-Z products are in line with the current trend to increased added value in the laboratory, while the success of Creation CC is evidence that a system which has proven its worth over the decades is still appreciated more than ever in these quality-oriented times.“

Great interest in live demos by the master ceramicists

Among the biggest draws at this year's IDS were the two demonstration booths at the Creation stand, organised and run by Patrick Boche, the company's Product & Technical Manager. Over the five days of the fair, sixteen outstanding dental technicians showed off their skills - from the experienced oral designers Joachim Maier, Francesco Mello, Thilo Vock and Christian Berg, the well-known dental technicians Hubert Schenk, Otto Prandtner and Stefan Schunke, through to the latest Creation generation. Always surrounded by a dense crowd of onlookers, they showed visitors to the exhibition how top-quality ceramics can be safely used to produce outstanding aesthetic results. The high quality and brilliant, lasting colour of the individual materials, and their excellent shape retention and stability during firing were frequently mentioned by visitors.
